We are all loving this site http://www.theblademuseum.com/ here at Tru Apparel. Lots of great content on the history of our sport, from products to skaters to old media. They say you need to know your roots and this is a sick place to start or even for all the old schoolers to reminisce a bit and feel thirteen again. Great work guys keep it up!
The now-defunct Mindgame’s concepts and riders were some of, if not the, biggest inspirations on rollerblading. The original Sum consisted of: Shima, Elliot, Wysong, Latimer and Feinberg. Their first video offering “Brain fear gone” produced by owner Shane Colburn to this day stands the test of time as one of the best skate videos ever made. This is one of those rare team videos where every rider plays their part perfectly in creating something unique and diverse. Following titles flowed such as”Words” (2002), “Bang!” (2004) and “Accidental Machines” (2006), all of which made huge strides in the rollerblading world, but for a lot of us OGs Brainfeargone really captured an amazing time in rollerblading.
